4th SS Polizei Division

Post by zezio73 »

Hi,
may anyone help me to find out information about 4th SS Polizei Division?
What was her employment? And her organization? And What about her name "4th SS POLIZEI Division"

I make these questions because I've find out a lot of information on the other (maybe more famous?) SS Disvisionen (1st LAH Division, 2nd Division "Das Reich"...) and only short paragraphes about the 4th SS Division.

Thank you in advance Zezio

A divisional history is available, 2 text and 1 photo book, in German. Volume 1 of the text history is available in English from Fedorowicz Publishing. A unit I'm always had great interest in that is generally overlooked.

In march of this year, I 've asked directly to JJ Fedorowicz Publishing [[email protected]] when the next sequals of "Das Reich" and "In Good Faith" would be available.
Their answer was that both volumes "Das Reich IV" and "In Good Faith II" will probably not be done until late fall at the very earliest.

Pardon me, Brian, but I thought the SS-Polizei Division was a panzergrenadier division late in the war.
