Hochsee Kran Number 3

Does anyone have any information on Hochsee kran number 3 in the Ostsee command, my father served on this unit the entire war from Kurland to Kiel.. We lived in Gotenhafen, during this time ,I was only six when we fled, my mother, unable to get passage on the W.GUSTLOFF. we fled on a small boat instead. My dad served in the Kaisers infantry in France and was wounded during WW-I and somehow served as Ships Carpenter in the Kriegsmarine in WWII. I wrote to Germany during the 60's and received the expected response that all records were destroyed. Any and all information regarding my Father, this ship or crew will be greatly appreciated.
