Kripo identification tag

Post by Gino »

Hi everybody, i have just got a nice oval identification tag that says:
STAADLICHE KRIMINALPOLIZEI roll no 5450 or something like,
on the other side there is a big eagle.

The tag is made of white metal, not alu, looks like an alloy with some silver? The tag is quite lite and it is surely aged, the hole on the top side had been very well used.
I do belive there had been made fakes of this kind of e-marke,
could anyone provide me any information about good/fake ones?
Many thanks in advance

Your disk sounds a bit suspect as these were struck in bronze metal and certainly never light metal. However, I recommend you visit Don Bibles site:

He is probably the "godfather" of information on Gestapo and Kripo warrant disks. If you are able to send him a scan I am sure he will help you out.
