Hello,

I am looking for detailed information on the 3. Fallschirmjäger Division
in December 1944.
This division had 3 Rgt's: 5th, 8th and 9th Rgt.
Looking especially for strenght returns, casualty lists. info on Rgt. commanders aso.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hello, some little information about 3 fjd in 44-45 ;destroyed in Normandy, rebuilt in Belgium with 22, 51, 53 flieger rgt

-Stabs-kp/div.stab:Germany from december 44 to the end of war
- 5 fjrgt:rgt stab, nachr zug, raft zug,kraft zug, techn coy, 13, 14, and 15 coy in Belgium in sept 44. from nov until the end of the war in Germany
- I BTL : stab;stabs coy; nachr zug and 1, 2, 3, coy oct 44Belgium and Holland; nov 44 until the end of war in Germany
- II BTL ; stab, 5, 6, 7, 8, coy Belgium in sept 44 after in Germany
- III BTL ; stab, Nachr zug, 9, 10, 11, 12 coy ; sept44 oct 44 in Belgium and Holland after in Germany

-8 FJR ;rgt stab, stab coy, kampf zug, 1 feld ers. coy, Nachr zug, Rafd zug, le. Kol, le.jg.Kol, 13, 14, 15 coy oct 44 in Holland after in Germany
-I BTL; stab, Nachr zug, Pi zug, 1, 2, 3, coy nov 44 in Germany
- II BTL ; stab, Nachr zug, 5, 6, 7, 8, coy sept 44 in Belgium after in Germany
- III BTL ;stab, Nachr zug, Pi zug , 9, 10, 11, 12, coy ???(i don't know after july 44...)
I must look in my document for the other rgt, what else do you want?

For "TAUBERT" with the rank of major i dont have this name in the officer of the regiment, but i don't have ALL the name (but he wasn't in Rgt 5, 8, and 9) maybe in Div Stab or in the Nachr Abt 3 or in 3 Abteilung of Fallsch jg art. rgt 3. Do you have anything else about him?
