The translation, "Luftwaffe to touch" makes no sense. Perhaps in context?

No, the meaning is:
The Luftwaffe allows a close look, you can see everything or ask all questions. You can go there and get all informations you want without any hindrance.

In german you use this term to show that e.g. a prominent person speaks with his or her fans, is not conceited. A Company for example is "zum anfassen" when they do a good job in official work, makes guided tours through his rooms and so on.....

I read on a french board that a guy was searching about some "devise" (I don't know the correct word in english) of the german unit. And someone has wrotte these sentance.....

I suppose, it really goes to the side, that they wanted new "victims" and so they told everyone it would be a fair and open organisation. To me after all I read about it, it is only another lie to get youngsters interessted.....

We are nice, we are open to all attitudes, we are kind and the only thing we care for is the "Vaterland"... I'm so sick of this phrases. Whenever I search for some history of mine I find this phrases...

Sorry, I just was sort of emotional... I WANT INFORMATIONS AND NO propagand...

I received a letter today from "an old friend of your grandfather!" saying:
he only did his job, he had no ther joice and so on and on and on...

I do not know how I would have reacted, but I'm sick of this answers....
