Hi. I'm a retired government scientist who worked for the military for 38 years. I'm particularly interested in how science and technology has changed the nature of warfare. My main interest right now is getting to the bottom of a story which has been circulating in the Isle of Wight for a long time about a German kommando raid on a radar station. If true, German boots did land on British soil in 1943, contrary to all the histories. It's such a fantastical story, it can't possibly be true. Can it?
