Might be a bit of a stretch to find this sort of info out, but with what sort of equipment, in line of SP AT assets, was this unit equiped with?
Building it up for a wargame, but want to make sure that I have its makeup correct.
Also, agian a stretch, but what is a Granatwerfer-Bataillon?

Pz.Jg.Abt. 178
When the former 78. Inf.Div. was reorganized into the 78. Sturm-Div. it's Pz.Jg.Abt. 178 was authorized to become a fully self-propelled anti-tank unit with Stab and 2 companies of 13 Pak-Sfl. each, and thus 26 Panzerjäger II für 7,5 cm Pak 40/20 (Sd.Kfz. 131) AKA 'Marder II' were delivered until mid May 1943. This seems to have been the only delivery the unit ever received, no replacements are recorded as far as I could establish. Despite being engaged in several major combat actions losses were remarkably low and by 1.6.1944 the Pz.Jg.Abt. 178 still had 19 Marder II available. This however changed dramatically just a few weeks later when the Russians launched their devastating offensive against the German H.Gr. Mitte and the 78. Sturm-Div. lost most of its men and all heavy equipment in just a few days.
When the division was rebuild as 78. Gren.-, Volks-Gren.-, Volks-Sturm-Div. in the summer and fall of 1944 the new Pz.Jg.Abt. 178 was authorized to have one Pak mot.Z. company, one Jagdpanzer company and one light Flak company. However it took until the end of January 1945 before 14 Jagdpz. 38 actually arrived.

Hello to all ; taking advantage of this..........................
Jagdpanzer 38(t) in the 78. Volks-Sturm-Division.
The Panzerjäger Abteilung 178 was destroyed near Orsha in June 1944. Reorganized on 25 September 1944 at Mielau taking StuG Abt. 1178 and Flak Company 178. The new Pz.Jg.Abt. 178 was authorized to have one Pak mot.Z. company, one Jagdpanzer company and one light Flak company. However, it was not until the end of January 1945 that 14 Jagdpanzer 38s actually arrived. This was the 2. Jagdpanzerkompanie/ Volks-Sturm panzerjägerabteilung 178.
