Hello!
Can anyone tell me what the length of service would've been for an enlisted man in the Reichswehr in the early 1920s?
Thanks!

Re: Reichswehr Length of Service
Hello,
As far as I know and that I have read, the army was to be reduced to 100,000 enlisted men for a term of twelve years, except 4,000 officers whose term of service would be twenty-five years

Sorry but I did't know more.
Kindly regards from Belgium
Prosper

Re: Reichswehr Length of Service
Question, on those who entered service in 1936 what was their length of service?
I have a photo album that states in July of 1935 he received orders that he must muster. As he would have eventually been part of the 6th infantry division I am sure he was not released from service before the end of World War 2.
