According to the website the picture shows german soldiers with an StG-44 Assault Rifle during the Battle of the Bulge

An other website (I didn't know anymore which one) says that is was during the battle of the Huertgen forrest.

From my Uncles collection. He was wounded on the Eastern front and never returned to it.

"Six men disabled 16 tanks. Of the 30 Soviet tanks that managed to break, these 6 SS-Unterfuehrer of an assault group disabled 16 with the Panzerfaust!"
