Hello,
Was hoping anyone had some insight on which variant of the SS-Schütze and SS-Oberschütze that the SS-Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilungen used in 1944? Please provide documentation if possible. Thanks in advance.
Was it :
SS-Panzerschütze
SS-Panzeroberschütze
OR
SS-Panzergrenadier
SS-Panzerobergrenadier
OR even
SS-Schütze
SS-Oberschütze
SS-Pz.Aufkl.Abt Ranks

Re: SS-Pz.Aufkl.Abt Ranks
Hello,
I think (not sure) somewhere in 1943 the term Schütze and Oberschütze becomes Grenadier and Obergrenadier.
So in 1944 it would accourding to me certainly be Grenadier.
Greetings
Wim

Any information about Flemisch in German service (Waffen SS, OT, NSKK, Kriegsmarine, ...) during WWII is welcome.

Thank you for the input Herr Winkeler, since this post I have found a document that affirms my initial suspicions that the SS-Schütze and SS-Oberschütze variants were used, specifically in the Panzeraufklärungskompanie, which I hadnt mentioned in my original post.
