Hi everyone,

does anyone of you know where I can get some info/research material for the battle of St. Malo, France in August 1944?
As far as I know it was the US 83rd Inf vs 329 ID.

Try Jonathan Gawne's book 1944,Americans in Brittany (the Battle for Brest), which deals with the 83rd's battle for St Malo in some depth.

You could also try "After the battle" magazine which did an issue on St Malo years ago, but you can still get it as a back issue.
