Novels/Fictional books

Post by Gebirgsjaeger »

Hi there,

can anyone suggest good fictional reading on WW2 to me? I´d love to find some more good researched and "realistic" novels, preferably from the German point of view. Your help is very much appreciated!

Our own Prit Buttar has an entry in that realm as well!

That's the UK listing, but I'm sure it's around somewhere else. There's always "The Forgotten Soldier" by Guy Sajer, as discussed ad nauseum here on Feldgrau! viewtopic.php?f=50&t=160&hilit=forgotten+soldier

There are others, as well. I hope to eventually have one myself, one day!

And there's always Willi Heinrich's "Cross of Iron," if you haven't read it.
