Hi Folks.
Can anyone provide a link to operational maps of the Wehrmacht Crimean campaign during WW2 with particular reference to the Perekop Isthmus? This region would appear to be an ideal locale for contemporary metal detecting war relics given it's "bottleneck" status. Awhile back I came across a detailed online map of Soviet and Wehrmacht positions between Feodosiia and North to the Sea of Azov but unfortunately do not recall the specific website, does anyone recollect viewing this map which was likely pre-Operation Bustard Hunt and subsequent Eastward move to Kerch?
There are numerous maps freely available of the Sevastapol district campaigns the remaining Crimean Wehrmacht operational maps appear to be in lesser availability. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!
Perekop Isthmus, Crimea.
