Can anyone tell me anything about this dogtag that was recently found in Norway ?

Hello Hans,

The tag you have appears to be a German Naval tag. I cannot read all the name on the first image, but this tag looks as though it has been overstamped and re-issued - used twice by the same owner as his unit changed. An interesting find as I have not seen many re-issued Kriegsmarine tags before.

A late amendment to your enquiry Hans, I should also have included in my reply that the letter "O" on the tag would refer to Marinestation Ostee.
