The series "Dictionnaire de la Waffen SS" is truly a masterpiece on the history of the Waffen SS. I look forward to seeing the fourth volume, to date I have not yet arrived.

How come in this volume there is no information on units of war correspondents?

The SS War Correspondants are treated in the chapter relative to the miscellaneous units.

I leafed through the book three times and only found it last attempt. Sorry for the gaffe. However, a list of all the formations mentioned at the end of the book might have been helpful ....

The listing had been planned but the book was limited to 544 pages. As the printer works with 16-page leaflets, to add a list of 3 pages would have meant 13 additional pages with unforeseen stuff or void.

I know the problem, although I am publishing, the first organized enough, however. This takes nothing away from your wonderful book.

I am currently working on the Wiking Division. Three volumes (each with approximatively 450 pages and 800 photos) are foreseen. The first one will cover the December 1940 - April 1942 period. 80% of its photos have never been published before.

Thanks for the information Charles. I better start saving the pennies then. Have you got any information on the 250 men that were transferred (if that is the correct term) from 26 SS "Hungaria" to the 32 SS "30 januar" in the books?
