Hello waffen 211!

This is Friedrich Richter, SS-Sturmbannführer and Kommandeur III./SS-Pz.GR 21 of the 10. SS-Panzer-Division "Frundsberg". Richter is one of several very late war RKT that have been disqualified as a legit RKT by the research of Veit Scherzer (2005).
See the following translated note from Axis HIstory Factbook...
12. Richter, Friedrich 11.05.1945 SS-Sturmbannführer Kdr III./SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt 21
[proposal arrived at HPA via Fernschreiben on 25.03.1945 ; the original proposal was handed back to HPA P 5a by Obersturmbannführer Kment with approval of Himmler on 29.04.1945 ; four identical proposals existing approved by Div.Kdr (Harmel) and by Himmler ; comments of AOK 9 and HGr Weichsel are lacking ; HPA proposal in three copies existing but unfinished at war's end ; case treated by Ordenskommission OdR in 1977 and decided: "RK ja, 6.5.1945" ; award date later changed by Fellgiebel ; award date by Krätschmer : "09.05.1945"]
