Waffenampt Location?

Hello All,
Can anyone tell me the most likely locations for Waffenampt markings on a K98 Mauser?
If you own a Mauser and could post pics of your markings, or even locations of Waffenampts that have been obliterated, I would truly appreciate it.

Usually the marking/stamp was placed on the gun barrel, between the sight and the hull end of the barrel.

The term is spelled Waffenamt btw
