Hi to all.
While writing about something I came across an information, that old Beniaminów Fort was still used during WWII.
My question would be: who, why and when?
So far I know, that it was used for purposes of training by some Pioniere units (Polish text states: "saperzy", and "Pioniere" is the closes translation) - but no number was given. I also know, that there were some collaboration units being trained nearby, but no hint, that they used this fort too.
With Fort Zegrze, Beniaminów was a part of German defences around Warsaw in 1944. This is the only thing I have found, no detailed info.
Which engineer unit used it? What for? How long? Who else might have used it?
Some photos, if any would like to see them:

A hint, if anybody is trying to answer my question - Beniaminów was one of several medium-size POW camps in this area - POWs from the Ostfront were kept there.
