2nd Battle for Aachen

Hello,

I almost finished my work on a study about German units engaged in the 2nd Battle for Aachen in October 1944. I went through the files of the German 81st Corps, American after action reports and other official German and US files, but I’m still missing some American G2 reports. I’m wondering if somebody is having access to the G2 reports of 1st US Inf Div for the time from October 10th till 22nd or could tell me the precise reference at the NARA in order to find these files.

I am not totally certain, but I think you want Record Group 407, 301-2.1. 301 means division level records for 1st division. The -2.1 means periodic G-2 reports.
