Can anyone indicate some book or website about Tobruk bunkers?
As I have seen, there is so rich choice of bunkers - with tank turrets, with MG and observer cupolas - that it is hard to believe that it could be one system... And, why named by Tobruk?

This is a small type of bunker, based on an Italian design seen in the fighting around Tobruk in 1942. The Germans modified the basic design and had a whole array of types. Do a search for "Tobruk" and "Ringstand", their formal name, and you will find lots of information. Also see: http://www.gyges.dk/ringstande%20201.htm
