Abbreviations

Hi

Could anyone tell me what the following abreviations are short for

1) "G.P.A. A.178"

I know that the man was in Aufklärungsabteilung 178 so that is the "A.A.178" part but what does G.P. stand for?
also

2) Kr.S.St. Bautzen.

This entry is from a Soldbuch under the heading of Lazarett and refers to a time the man spent in a hospital in the town of Bautzen.

A friend of mine thinks that no.2) "Kr.S.St" stands for Krankensammelstelle = Collection point for the patients. Sounds plausible to me.
