POW Camp, Stockton, CA

I am looking for info on a German POW camp that was in Stockton, CA.
If anyone has, or knows where I can find information on this POW camp it would be very greatfull. I want to wright a article or possibly a book if I can come up with enough information. I know Afrika Corp members were sent there in 42,43. Anybody know of any vets that stayed there?
