POW Camp, Stockton, CA

I am looking for info on a German POW camp that was in Stockton, CA.
If anyone has, or knows where I can find information on this POW camp it would be very greatfull. I want to wright a article or possibly a book if I can come up with enough information. :D

Hi..
don't know about Stk, but in Byron, off Byron Hwy, place called
Byron Hot Springs held German & Japanese officer's, it was a
resort yrs before for rich hollywood types, it's suppose to rebuild
as it was originally, a Hot Springs resort.

In Stockton died 5 German prisoners at least:
Name - Date of death - Place of death - Cause of Death
Hans-Georg Fischer Oct. 25, 1945 Camp Stockton acute gastroenteritis
Ernst Gall Aug. 25, 1944 Camp Stockton pneumonia
Karl-Heinz Hafer Dec. 06, 1945 Stockton Depot death by accident
Richard Neuhaus Dec. 06, 1945 Stockton Depot death by accident
Werner Mattner Sep. 16, 1945 Camp Stockton suicide
They are all buried at the Benicia Army Cemetery
