Hello,
I hope that you guys can help me with this.
Maybe it's impossible to find it out, but does someone know who the Leutnant with the eye-patch is?
He is at the Ritterkeuz ceremony of Werner Baumbach, 8th of May, 1940.
Unknown Leutnant.

I don't know, but its interesting. It seems like he didn't receive the wound in his service because I can't spot a wound badge. Hard to tell w/ the Tuchrock though...

Picture of AH and his Chief Pilot
I own a photograph of AH with his chief pilot, Hansl Baur (signed by the latter in 1938). However, I do not know hor to post it.
Help, please,

I believe, though very blurred, that the badge the Lt. is wearing is a wound badge.

Looks more like a Beobachterabzeichen to me.

Eyepatch with no wound badge?
It could well be a temporary ailment in the eye, requiring no light hitting the eye? Maybe a splinter or metal shaving in the eye?
