Well, the worst part was the preparation. Liquid diet indeed. I was an irritable SOB, indeed!

The anesthesia was great, though. I was talking to the nurse, who is Australian. I remember discussing Perth, then I woke up in recovery. No nausea, grogginess, or anything like that. Within 20 minutes after waking, I walked out.

The results were good. No video, but I got some souvenir stills!

LOL, you're a shocker :D :D

Tom, when do you find out everything? If you already have, it seems everything's OK. Good luck and keep healthy!

There's one more test now the surgeon wants to do, to narrow down the options. I have to wait about two weeks to get back with him to schedule that. I like ruling out what the problem isn't, before deciding what it is!

Unfortunately, the liquids I would have preferred were forbidden. Luckily, black coffee was allowed, so that was some salvation.

You've never seen me eat. Loss of appetite was disconcerting to me to begin with. Being told I couldn't eat for a day was rather unpleasant!

An American law officer who likes his food? Perish the thought. :D :D

Last time I was in New York I walked past a police precinct at the start of a shift. It was like they'd all been to a Krispy Kreme convention, waddling out with their supplies for the day. :D

I irritate the hell out of my comrades at work. I (normally) eat all sorts of snacks and junk food, in addition to my regular lunch, and don't gain a pound!

Still 5'11", and about 165 pounds. Not bad for a guy my age, eh? Of course, a lot of my co-workers weighed that much in high school...

Bloody hell. I'm same height but not the same weight :-( And I cycle everywhere.

Right, back to my coffee and chocolate cake (mid-morning snack)... Ah, perhaps that's my downfall. :D

Yeah I had the procedure once, the preperation was horrible - drank the meds, nothing happend, then the damn broke - ugh.

Glad to hear you will be ok - or as ok as you were before all this.

Tom, since it's been a while now since that particular post, I assume everything is OK, now?

Cheers mate,

So far, so good.

Still keep forgetting to call to schedule the next text... But no further problems anyway.
