Can anyone translate a Erkennungsmarke ?

Post by Bogey »

Hello,

i got some new info from the Deutche Volksbund about my grandfather:

- Name: Heinrich Reinders
- Truppenteil: Fest.Pak Kp.63
- Erkennungsmarke: -949-L./Nachsch.Kp8/VI

Who can help me translate it?

Is it Kriegsmarine? luftwaffe?
I only know that my grandfather died in Nijkerk, Holland in Febr '45.

Thanks!
