All - of ALL the wartime film footage you've ever seen - which single film clip sums up WWII for YOU????

Two for me - cos I'm kicking this off LOL

1/ the shot forward along the landingcraft as the British come ashore on DDay, with the big threestorey French house ahead overlooking the shore. Recreated exactly in The Longest Day.....

2/ the clip at the end of the "Morning" episode in World At War, the landser getting shot in the Paris street and the girl running over - to pick up his rifle and hand it to the Resistance fighter....

the speech that Doenitz makes at the end of the propaganda movie "U Boote Westwards". It is something like "Fighting is about Sacrifice and victory!", followed by a martial German marching song. Guess it speaks for the sacrifice of thousands of Submariners during the war, sort of sad.
