VolKsgrenadier/Fallschirmjäger oobs Dec 44

I am trying to recreate as detailed oobs for the Ardennes campaign as possible. I have detailed info on the Heer and SS Panzer Divisions but am having more trouble with VolKsgrenadier and Fallschirmjäger divisions. I have carried out a pretty extensive search of many sites. I am aware of the theoretical organisations but really need to know what existed in reality.

Any information or directions to sources, preferably web sites, would be great.

Particularly interested in which divisions/regiments formed assault companies, any "special" units and strengths etc.

I am still looking for even more detailed information if you have any more ideas.
