When the "Fuhrer" got in charge of Germany, many social reforms were instigated,
One of them was to create jobs, and rebuild the economy.
All over the country big banners appeared, hanging across the streets, with the message: "Das wir wieder arbeiten können, danken wir der Führer" (For tThat we can work again, we have to thank the Führer)

Mother comes home from shopping a,d decides to go to the ladies auxillary, so she leaves a not on the kitchentable : Went to the N.S.V."
A little later the son comes home from school, reads his mothers note, and writes underneath, "Went to the H.J. meeting"
Yet a little later father comes home, reads the note and decides to attend a meeting in the beerhall. He writes underneath : "Went to the S.A."
Half an hour later two burglars come in, ransack the house and wrote on the note: "Das wir wieder arbeiten können, danken wit der Führer".
