Did non Germanic SS volunteers have tatoos

did non Germanic volunteers in Waffen SS (Degrelle Wallonians, French SS Charlemagne, Ukranian SS, 29 Italian Waffen Grenadier Division of SS, etc) have blood tatoos like normal Germanic SS like Leibstandarte, Totenkopf, Das Reich, etc? And forgive me if this is not relevant, was the method of applying the tatoo burning it on? saw it in a movie. thanks

The "Tattoo" has been discussed on this forum as well as A.H.F. "ad in absurdum".
It was a capital letter, denoting the bloodtype of the person, scratched into the skin, under the left arm, a little above half way between elbow and armpit. this was "smeared" with black ink, wiped, and . . . tada ! "the" tattoo.
