...and we have a winner in Herr Rosselsprung!
The above mentioned website is quite good and worthy of a visit. There you also find the Heliofly III-57. Just imagine the Luftlande-Sturm-Regiment swarming in like bees... or not!?
Your turn, Rosselsprung,

Source qoute and picture: http://avia.russian.ee/helicopters.htmlThe Austrian engineer, Paul Baumgartl, concerned himself during the Second World War with the design of small single-seat helicopters, in the suburbs of Vienna. It is not certain whether his work was sponsored by the German Government, but his machines were in the same category as those of Nagler-Rolz. Baumgartl's first product was the Heliofly I of 1941, which was little more than a strap-on autogyro glider for sporting use.

Hello Michael!
This is non other (I hope ) than Major Wolfgang Späte, the legendary Commander of Erprobungskommando 16, test unit for the Messerschmitt Me 163 "Komet". Also known as the only Rocket plane pilot to have flown a Tomato red Komet...
And by the way, Michael... Thanks for the information on how not to post pictures in a competion like this!
Regards,
Krollspell

Sorry Michael... The "Wasserfall" was a 25 feet long surface-to-air missile being developed in Germany.
