Silly Question- Iron (as in shirts)

Post by Epaminondas »

Hi

Have a friend who is translating a book into German...

In American there is a process called ironing where a device called an iron "steams" a piece of clothing, getting the wrinkles out.

Is there an equilivant word/phrase in German?

Thanks
