another Photo of him(right) with IAB.He was the commander of SS-cavalry Divsion.But how could he with IAB ?

The requisites for the award of the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen was for the soldier to take part in three infantry assaults on three different days. I'm not sure how mechanized the SS-Cavalry units and the Florian Geyer division was in the beginning but surely Fegelein and his troops must have fought on the ground as infantry without armored support on several occassions.

I have a picture of Max Wünsche in a book. It's a formal portait when he is a SS-Sturmbannführer, all dressed up in the black panzer uniform with a non-regulation black shirt to really show his Ritterkreuz. And sporting on this SS Panzer officer's chest is the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen! So it's not that uncommon I guess...

Thank you for posting the second photograph. This is the first time I ever see it. My guess is that the man with the bandaged head is Waldemar Fegelein, the younger brother. Can anyone confirm this?
