All are cordially invited to attend the premier
meeting of the North Carolina Military History Round Table

September 16, 2008, 7:00 PM
Wayne County Library, 1001 East Ash Street, Goldsboro

“The Lure of Military History: Alcibiades, Agincourt and Antietam” presented by Dr. Roy W. Heidicker, Wing Historian, 4th Fighter Wing, Seymour Johnson AFB

If you are fascinated by military history, come to this opening meeting. Historians, veterans, military leaders and fans of military history will meet to experience a lecture and discussion about battles, commanders, weapons, strategy and tactics. Enjoy an interesting lecture, lively discussion, and meet people with similar interests. We will look at the full scope of military history from the ancients, through Napoleon, the World Wars and the wars of today. Our October 21, 2008 meeting will feature a lecture by Colonel Daniel DeBree, Vice Commander, 4th Fighter Wing, about the air war in the Falklands War!
