Ah well LWD, the fact is that anyone who denies the sighting of the Spires of Moscow ignores both German military and the subsequent reports of the reaction of the Stalin government.

Both official Soviet History and Whermacht History seem to agree on this this event. Stalin set up lines beyond the city limits of Moscow to destroy evacuees from the city. I submit, humbly and again, that such measures would only be necessary if Moscow were directly threatened and there is absolutely no reason that I can find that the German resources on the event were not accurate.
