Railway artillery January to April 1944 in Heeresgruppe Nord

Post by PreußensGlanz »

Hello
I searching for details on the German railway artillery units attached to Heeresgruppe Nord in 1944(January to April) stationed near Leningrad.
As far as I know they were all in the Eisenbahn-Artillerie Regiment z.b.V. 679(that was under the command of Höherer Artillerie-Kommandeur 303 (HArko 303)) with the following subunits:
Eisenbahn-Artillerie Abteilung 459(Really Abteilung not Batterie?)
Eisenbahn-Artillerie Abteilung 686
Eisenbahn-Artillerie Abteilung 691
Eisenbahn-Artillerie Abteilung 693
Eisenbahn-Artillerie Abteilung 695

Now I would like to now what guns were used in those units and the movements of the units after the Russian offensive started on 14th January 1944. I'm really curious about when and where the railway artillery took up firing position after moving out of the area between Oranienbaum bridgehead and Leningrad.

Can anyone provide information about this or knows a source for it?

With Regards
