Single Player Board Games

Post by Gerhard von Dinkins » Tue Oct 03, 2017 3:27 am

Are there any good single player war board games out there. Would love to start wargaming, but unaware of any other gamers in my neck of the woods. Baltimore, MD area

There are a few although it's been a while since I've played any of them. There are also web tools that let you play some board games over the net.

Baltimore was the original home of Avalon Hill Company one of the most famous of the early board game producers. I'd think that there would still be groups in the area. You might try looking for local gaming conventions or clubs. Either one may help you find local opponents. Here are some links that may prove useful:

A couple in Rockville are listed and some others that may be in range.

Maryland specific but I'm not sure how close any are to you. Even if some distance away they may have members much closer.

Maryland is in the SouthAtlantic group on this page.

This one is down in DC and the page loaded a bit weirdly but may be worth checking out.
This google has some more possible sites of intereset:
