Gallipoli / Dardenelles Naval Actions

The British and French (Allied) naval forces attempt to force entry (1915 -1916) through the Dardenelles seemed to have little chance of success. I have just updated my website www.inforworks.com/gwsea.htm Does anyone have more information about the actual role of German military people that helped the Turkish forces to defeat the Allies?
