Hello to all :D; here goes a map showing the areas to be occupied by the German Army since October 01 onwards.......AFAIK the Zone III was occupied mainly by the XVI AK (Mot) under General Guderian and its 1 Pz, 13 ID (Mot) and 20 ID (Mot). In Zone I acted the 7 ID and within Zone III mainly the 3 Pz......but within Zone II? Anyone has a better picture of that deployment? TIA. Cheers. Raúl M 8).

Hello to all :D; a little more.......I've found this in Walter Görlitz's work:

On August 18, 1938 General Beck resigned, which was accepted three days later.

On 1 September 1938 as General Halder took over as CoS of the Army - Heer. The Army General Staff received the directive to prepare a contingency plan against Czechoslovakia which committed four armies, comprising 10 Army Corps as follows below:

2nd Army (v. Rundstedt) in Silesia.
10th Army (v. Reichenau) with the bulk of the motorized and armored formations in the Pilsen area.
12th Army (v. Leeb) in Bavaria. (it had been retired in February 1938 and was reinstated in the service to execute the invasion).
14th Army (see list) Austria.
14 divisions of militia (Landwehr) should occupy the western wall (Gen. Adam).

In parallel with these plans, the resistance also prepared the coup in which were involved Halder, Oster (2 º of Canaris), Gordeler, Count Helldorf (Chief of Police of Berlin), v. Witzleben (Commander Military Region III - Berlin), Brockdorff-Ahlefeldt (Commander 23 º DI - Potsdam) and Hoepner (Commander 1st Light Div - Wuppertal, here was a such v. Stauffenberg). The plan was as follows: Witzleben troops were to occupy the district of ministries and arrest Hitler and delivered him to a people's court, while the 1st Light Div on their way to the Czech border was to close the roads to and from Berlin to prevent the intervention of SS troops mobilized on the border. But Western powers saved Hitler with the Munich Pact and the coup was no longer viable (could not arrest anyone had achieved such a victory without bloodshed) hence the famous phrase of Halder who said perplexed "What remains for us to do? all goes well. "

Hello to all :D; at last the German deployment planned for "Case Green" (Fall Grün). I think this was before the Munich Agreement, I do not know whether it was accomplished in this way during the occupation of the Sudetenland or it was modified to fulfill this new task...............
