Fall Südost 1939.
By order of the Führer and Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht, on March 14, 1939, the measures planned for the Case Southeast (Fall Südost) were issued.
To carry out the pacification action planned by the Reich Government, on March 15, 1939, the deployed forces crossed the border of Bohemia and Moravia at 06:00 hours sharp ........
They proceeded as follows:
H.Gr 5 Vienna.
XVII AK. From Lundenburg to the Marchtal (4. Le. Div and 44. ID)
XVIII AK. From the northwest of Nikolsburg to Brünn (45. ID); to Wischau and Boskowitz (2. Pz Div)
VIII. AK. From the north of Moravia to Olmütz, Prosnitz, Wischau (5. Pz Div ref); towards Prerau - Kremsier (2. ID Mot); towards Lysa Hora (8. ID ref). The 8. ID at 5:30 pm on March 14, 1939 occupied the Mähr area. Ostrau and towards the south. Short resistance of the Czech troops in Silesia-Ostrau and Mistek was quickly broken. There were no casualties on the German side ...................
