Hello everyone
My name is Bart and I am a 75 years old man, living in Holland. Some years go I got some photographs, that my father-in-law left behind after he died in 1958. He was a police-officer and served in 1943 in Russia as a member of the “Ordnungspolizei”. His unit was defending the Sosh-railwaybridge near the city of Gomel (Homiel, ГОМЕЛь, Homyel' or Homel) in Belarus against Partisan-attacks.
I am looking for information with regards to this unit.
Maybe anyone can help me ?

Re: Ordnungspolizei at Gomel bridge
a number of police batallions were involved in the operations against partisans in the Pripet Marshes between Slutsk and Gomel beginning 1943.
