Looking for good references about the Volkssturm. Most I have seen has just been very small points. Thanks.

Yelton's is best for the organisation of the Volkssturm, Kissel was the senior Army officer involved with the Volkssturm; his book includes some first-hand accounts. The best book in German is Franz Seidler's excellent, Deutscher Volkssturm. Das letzte Aufgebot 1944/1945 (German Volkssturm: The Last Levy 1944-1945). You can pick up a copy for as cheaply as 3 Euros.
