Re: Bridge over the ?
Hello,
Not sure at all, but I think its a bridge over the river Thames in London.
In the background It seems that's the St. Paul's Cathedral.
Apoliges for my poor english.
Regards from Belgium.

Thanks for the reply Prosper I thought of that as well but it's not the Thames. Nothing wrong with your English though it's very good.

Re: Bridge over the ?
I'm trying to find out, but's not easy.
Maybe the five span Palace Bridge over the Neva in St. Petersburg (former Leningrad) in Russia.
In the background, the St.Isaac's Cathedral ?
Kindly regards.

Re: Bridge over the ?
The river is far to wide for the Thames and the cathedral dome is to tall and narrow for St. Pauls.

Re: Bridge over the ?
It's also possible that the river is the Potomac in Washington with the Capitol in the background.

Hi Prosper,
Thanks for the reply again. It wasn't Washington but I did like the look of St. Petersburg and I have been looking at it for a few days now and looked at older photos and on Flickr as well ,but although it is very similar I have come to the conclusion that it is not it. But thanks for your efforts I appreciate them.

Re: Bridge over the ?
This is the mighty river Donau. The city is Budapest, Hungary.
The picture shows The Miklos-Horty-Bridge? (not 100% sure right now, many bridges were destroyed back in that time)
The capitol like building is the Budai Vár (Buda Castle), the former palace of the hungarian kings.

Hi!
I have doen a quick search on Google maps to see if I could find any pics which could give any hints one way or another
(Budai Var or Parliament)
This picture is taken north of "Margit hid" on the west side of Margitsziget, facing south-eastish.
Parliament (Have patient when clicking, maps and satelite photos are loading before the pic is comming)
This picture is taken approximately at "Erzsebét hid" facing north-westish
Budai Var (Have patient when clicking, maps and satelite photos are loading before the pic is comming)
I think from this that Budai Var is the most probable building.
