I am in need of a photograph of a Hitler Youth in full winter uniform,preferably one of a "kameradschafts führer"; i have been going through these threads, but my eyes are giving up after aw while.
Does anybody have one ? or tell me where to find it ?
It will be published in my book ( IF I ever get it off the ground ) with notice from whom it was obtained.

meanwhile I also need to find a " See-kadett" in uniform. ( officers candidate . I think that might be found in the Hajot line.
The one I used once upon a time, almost looked like an officers uniform, with Gefreiter stripes on it.
I am not holding my breath, so if and when ???

HaEn, I believe I know where I can dig a similar photo out, but it's a group shot rather than an individual portrait. Would that work?

i cannot help you with your pictures but if your book comes out one day,will it be in the dutch language also,or only in english?

Tom, Yes it will, i can photoshop it to crop what i need.
Sebastian, it will be in English. The name will be Chameleon. It is NOT a kriegs tages buch, or historic work; just the story of a youngster, caught in the machineries of WWII.

Hi Franz,
Thanks for that offer. But it seems a little costly, sending it all the way from Suomi to the West of America.
Perhaps you could look through it, scan the picture if you find one, and e-mail it to me.
The problem I see also, is that in a few days, i will be 84. That means my days are numbered, and i would not want your prize posession to end up int "that old junk the old man had".
One of my grandsons, will inheritl my military hardware and decorations, etc. But I wonder if het would want to keep all the books.
Hope this does not hurt your feelings. !!!
