december 27 2008, all right let's get down to business , so here we go - some pics from op Market Garden 1944:
btw take a look at all those wheelbarrows stacked with ammunition, weapons and some other stuff. like this junge in the foreground with some kind of suitcase in his wheelbarrow among other things. i guess the last two photos were taken after the operation or maybe not. any thoughts about this?

German positions near Zakroczym (near fortress Modlin) - Polenfeldzug 1939:
The battles of Zambrów and Andrzejewo fought against Polish 18. Infantry Division - Polenfeldzug 1939:
During the battle of Andrzejewo (which took place soon after the end of the battle of Zambrów) Polish 18th division was fighting alone against 4 German divisions - all units from 20th Motorized Infantry Division, most part of 10th Panzer Division, huge motorized group from 21st Division, and the whole 206th Infantry Division. Polish 18th Infantry Division lost more than 400 KIA during that battle and was encircled and defeated:
