I think the fellow on the right looks a little bit like Burt Lancaster.

Does anybody have the famous pic where the Pl cavalry attacks german tanks with drawn swords?
Well, if You want to see pictures of polish cavalrymen charging tanks, you need to look for them in "Geschwader Lützow"- german propaganda movie, because nothing like this ever happened in real life. As a Pole, I'm really depressed after watching those photos from sept. 1939. I've got some family pictures from WW2, but as most of them shows only Polish 2nd Corps, I don't think they fit this thread. Anyway, I found one postcard from oflag- it was sent to my family living in their estate near the town of Sierpc back then, by their friend, a POW at that time. On the oposite side, there was a short note: "Please, send me some food".

Hi,

I have a number of front line photos. Here are two from 225 Inf. Division album.
Photo taken in Belgium, 1940.
First shows smoke rising from the other side of a house. A German truck has stopped on the bend in the track.

Second photo shows two German trucks and small trailer on fire.
I was told that the retreating Belgian army harassed the Germans by blowing up buildings as they passed by.
You can see part of the building has collapsed and is lying against the back truck.

Same as above. Tree line is bombed by German aircraft. The black dots centre-left in photo are troops.
