I cant read the caption, "Lautrugy 2"? or Bautrugy? "8. F. F. K. - Komp." I think this was his unit designation when Fritz invaded France in 1940. I have to compress the group picture goes with it some more.

the one you werent sure about having an SS guy in it, the guy on the right, is waffen SS. he was telling you the truth! for once! an honest seller! ;- )

that guy is SS, because he has a sleeve eagle, AND SS collar rank. if it was an obergefreiter winkel, he wouldnt have sgt's tress on his collar. so he's SS.

Today I received a new photo, and from the moment I saw it I just fell in love with it.
It is an original colorized photo from a Luftwaffe Flieger on his wedding day and he is wearing a SA-Sportabzeichen.
