Having the NCO tresse inverted compared to the more common combat style was the way of having the tresse displayed on the Waffenrock.

Can't wait. For some reasons groups have always done something for me. You could show me a photo of a Waffen-SS guy fighting with an StG44 in Berlin with a Maus tank next to him, but I'd always be interested in the grouping.

This one is from a Dutch soldier, my grandfather.
He fought against the germans at the battle of the Grebbeberg in may 1940.
My grandfather is the middle one in the front row, kneeling.

Dutch, very good photos! I find the one of the unfortunate lynch victim to be quite interesting. Partisan? How do mine look?

Brendan, your photographs are really cool!
And it's all in good shape.
I like number 9 the most, with the parade in Crimea. 8).

But I really haven't got any idea who the lynch victim is.
I think it could be partizan.

Dutch, have you ever bothered to research the man you have a grouping of? Do you have a name for him?

No, I don't have a name of him so I don't think I can do a reseach about him.
But I am researching a waffen SS soldier and a Luftwaffe soldier. 8)
The luftwaffe soldier has died but I have contact with his son, the waffen SS soldier is still alive.

This is the luftwaffe soldier. 8)
