I'm not liking that black wound badge, because in the period photo, it looks much more worn than it is now.
During the war it was possible to get a copy of the award some soldiers sent the original home and had a copy on the field jacket so it was o great harm if it was lost
In the photo of the 3 brothers look at the tunics 2 are the old type

Like I said, just my observations.

And if I stand incorrect, which is very possible, then I apologize. I've just seen many farbish collections out there that are titled as 'original'

Again just my observations. And the photos are very nice.
Sincerely,

A lot of veterans replaced lost wartime awards and insignia with whatever they could find afterwards. The interesting aspect of this thread is not whether or not all his awards and insignia are pre-May 1945 items - take a look at Skorzeny's funeral display - but the great personal photographs and the story behind them/

Voice of reason here.

Our own HaEn will explain about lost/taken/traded or gotten rid of
awards.

Michael C - Thank you for posting those very nice photos along with your comments.

Landstorm - Shame on you for posting that ridiculous photo of yourself dressed up like a German soldier and attempting to take this thread off-topic.
