I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I was wondering if anyone had pics specifically dealing with the Russians and Germans during the Battle of Berlin in 1945.

Here's a few I've picked up over the years. Most are from Berlin, some I don't know where they were from, all are 1945.

Not sure where this was taken, but here's a Volkssturm unit heading to the front. Note the use of M-35, Luftschutz "Gladiator" and WWI vintage M-16 helmets in the photo. Troop at front carries MG-42:

One more pic from the Volkssturm grouping, note the soldier on the right side guarding the door is armed with the Stg-44, the man on the left uses the Mp-28(?):

One last photo, I have a few more, but haven't scanned them into my computer yet, I'll post them when I do. It appears that the troop smoking has a G-43 semi-auto slung under his arm:

Some kind of "panzerbuchse" bt I can't ID for sure.

I was aboot to point out that that is (i believe) a PTRS 41. look at the handle and barrel with gas pipe, but i could be wrong...

there is also a healthy does of StG44s in those pics... was that common? i expected less of them.
